WELCOME

Hello and welcome to the new and official website of Cwmbran Woodland Players! ( Or as we are more affectionately known… “Woodies” ) We were founded in 1970 and are a very friendly and informal group. We meet at Woodland Road Sports and Social Club every Wednesday (and most Thursdays) between 7:30pm and 10pm, so if you’ve ever had an ambition to tread the boards, why not come along and say hello. You’ll never know until you try, and don’t forget, there are plenty of opportunities backstage as well as in directing, costumes and set building & design.
We stage two major productions per year at the Congress Theatre in Cwmbran: a pantomime in January and a musical in September. We also stage other smaller concerts, plays and social evenings at other locations throughout the year.
